Environmental aspects
Nordic Ecolabelling sets ambitious and absolute environmental requirements that are unique for each set of criteria we publish. The environmental impact through a product’s life cycle is assessed from a holistic perspective. There is special focus on climate, circular economy, chemicals and biodiversity in combination with a focus on health and quality.
Divided in four themes, a general approach to environmental aspect are described. Each environmental aspect has a text that explains the general approach and how Nordic Ecolabelling sets requirements to deal with the environmental aspect.
